We call it "Buckles"

The Bergen County Cooperative Library System, or BCCLS, is a consortium of 75+ public libraries in northern New Jersey including communities from Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic counties.

Residents of Ho-Ho-Kus must first register for a library card with us, then they will have access to over 5 million materials in BCCLS and can visit and borrow from any of the libraries. Items can be requested in person or from the online catalog and you can often retrieve them within 1-2 days thanks to our localized delivery system.

BCCLS empowers our member libraries by providing a collaborative framework made stronger by the uniqueness of its members. We demonstrate our commitment to collaboration through cost-effective resource sharing, shared professional development, and the fostering of initiatives to facilitate a forward-thinking public library system.
